The product, in the report: the product is a Rockville RockWedge Battery powered PAR light. these are commonly used by DJ’s and event venues as temporary uplighting.
I purchased a Rockville Rockwedge LED uplight through Amazon (Order #[REDACTED]). When I plugged the unit in for the first time, the power cord immediately sparked resulting in my circuit breaker tripping, cutting off power to the device. The spark occurred directly in my hand, causing a burn mark and smoke. I unplugged the device right away and contacted the fire department to ensure there was no electrical fire risk in my home.
