Hurt, care not known Made Dec 26, 2016, sent to the company Jan 4, 2017, published by CPSC Jan 19, 2017
The product, in the report: Black, RCA 32” LCD FULL HDTV, manufactured circa 2011
The 32” RCA television has emitted a mysterious, white crystallized substance continually for several years. It is odorous, so it must be able to spread through the air, which may be inhaled and may have harmful effects on the pulmonary system. Little is known about it. RCA claims it is the fire retardant reacting with the environment and claims it is not harmful but does not cite any supporting evidence such as tests or studies.
