The product, in the report: Hitachi 50” LCD TV Model LE50A6R9A

For the past two weeks, we have been noticing an acrid smell in the house, almost like bleach, and getting stronger every day. On October 27, I noticed the smell coming from the back of a Hitachi LCD TV, model LE50A6R9A. The TV is approximately 3 years old and has something burning inside it. Not only is it a fire hazard, but myself and my family all have very sore throats and burning feelings in our lungs from what is clearly toxic fumes. I would not be taking the time to report this if i did not strongly believe this TV was making us very sick for the past few days.
