  1. First aid

Made Dec 12, 2025, sent to the company Dec 17, 2025, published by CPSC Jan 6, 2026

The product, in the report: 22 Inch Portable Smart Screen On Wheels, 1080P Touchscreen Display, Rolling TV with 13MP HD Build-in Camera, [REDACTED],10W Stereo Speakers, Built-in Battery(6-8H),Remote Control, 6+128GB Storage

The product was used as a smart display screen to showcase our services inside a tanning salon window. It continuously played promotional videos in a loop and had been operating for approximately eight months without issue. During normal use, while the unit was actively playing a video, sparks suddenly began to emerge from the bottom section/base of the device. This was immediately followed by heavy smoke and the onset of flames. We unplugged the unit right away, but the smoke remained extremely intense. Emergency services were contacted, and the fire department was dispatched via 911. The sparks and heat from the bottom of the unit caused significant damage to the carpet underneath and to the flooring below it. The device was stationary and had never been moved from its original installation location. The incident occurred without warning and during standard use of the product.
