The product, in the report: This is a 40” LCD tv
The Emerson LCD 32” and 40” tvs that were purchased during september and december 2011 are running a power supply failure and mother board leak. After looking across the Internet for hours and looking over the consumer reports site I found that there are hundred if not thousands of consumer complaints over the LCD tvs only lasting several months before the power supply fries or the mother board blows up and starts to leak over the electrical components. Not only are all the complaints the same but Emerson fails to uphold a warranty they wants customers to produce a receipt and want customers to pay for services
My tv was purchased on black Friday 2011 for a 2 yr old so obviously it wasn’t over used.
