The product, in the report: APPLE TV, REMOTE CONTROL
Apple TV Remote Control - the top piece is made of unprotected glass and it shatters when dropped. My friends kid dropped the remote and put it in his mouth, making his lips bleed, he could have swallowed glass, I took it out and the shattered glass surface has cut my fingers and small glass shards fell off and stuck in my fingers.

First aid Made Mar 11, 2019, sent to the company Mar 21, 2019, published by CPSC Apr 4, 2019
The product, in the report: Apple TV generation 4 and 4k
I own multiple Apple TV’s. The 2 most current units i purchased have a very slim remote. This version was released in Oct of 2015 and continues to be sold today with their newest version the Apple TV 4k.
My 3 year old son dropped the remote from maybe 3 feet above the tile floor and it shattered and glass went everywhere. My foot was cut cleaning up the glass. I cannot believe that someone would first put glass in a remote that is constantly getting dropped and second not notify their customer that the product has glass in it so we can protect our children from using the device with such a safety hazard. If i would have known the remote had glass in it I would not have let my children use it.
This product is marketed as a smart TV device as well as a machine to play video games to children. I am amazed that this product has been available for over 3 years without a recall.
