The product, in the report: Glowforge Basic 40w Laser Printer
I have a laser machine which wasnt insulated or built properly. It has a high voltage wire built with subpar products and arced so much that holes appeared in the wire. Hundreds of others are complaining about the issue also. The company in charge is denying this is occurring and is charged $1800 for their manufacturing defect.

No one hurt Made Aug 13, 2023, sent to the company Aug 29, 2023, published by CPSC Sep 13, 2023
The product, in the report: Glowforge pro laser printer
I have a glowforge pro that has a defective high voltage power line. When I contacted Glowforge about my laser not working properly, they said I could pay $1651 to trade mine in for a refurbished unit.
Their refurbished units are still at risk for having this defective power supply. They are assuming no responsibility for this issue. There are people at risk who are running their lasers not knowing that their high voltage wire may be defective. I myself am not comfortable using my current machine or replacing it with a refurbished unit - that most likely will have the same defect.

No one hurt Made Sep 27, 2022, sent to the company Dec 20, 2022, published by CPSC Jan 12, 2023
The product, in the report: Glowforge Plus Laser Printer
High voltage power line to laser developed a short circuit causing sparking in machine, and ultimately destroying the power supply
Additional information:
The power supply is 22KV - the high voltage line shorts out onto the frame after 2 years, grounding to the metal frame, if there is an improper ground the metal parts are energized At 22,000 KV which will kill a person.
Is that Not dangerous???
UPDATED ON 5/26/2023: [I received a refurbished machine from Glowforge, and they used a defective power supply and added a nylon sleeve (Not fiberglass) to it, the power supply of course shorted out, and luckily the nylon did not catch on fire.
Here is a video of the sleeve they used and Photographs of the Power supply]
