The product, in the report: The battery that’s inside of the Winbook CW140 is made by Dongguan Genfeng Electronics (Model # 4588105). You will see in the picture attached how severely swollen the battery is. It should be flat but it’s like pillow.

A battery in a laptop computer (Winbook CW140) that I own is currently severely swollen, to the the point where it’s deforming the shape of the keyboard. I have contacted the laptop manufacturer (Micro Center Computers and Electronics) but they have not been forthcoming with a solution. It also appears that other consumers with this same laptop computer are having the same battery problem. I’m concerned that a swollen battery can leak or even explode and cause a fire. I believe a recall is warranted but defer to your judgement.
