The product, in the report: Sony Vaio vpcf115fm Black Laptop serial number 275149323020488 service tag c603xgfw

I own a Sony Vaio vpcf115fm laptop that was listed under a previous recall. Sony sent out an update for the bios to correct the issue of overheating and I installed it as soon as it was released. I am still having overheating issues with the laptop. They keyboard get almost too hot to touch without sustaining mild burns. Also the hard drive is now failing due to overheating (you can see burn marks on the solder on the botton of the hard drive) and the USB ports are loose and only work occasionally due to the area they are in (front right corner) getting overly hot. As I have researched this problem on the internet even Sony’s own support forum is still full of people having a problem with overheating issues after installing Sony’s “fix”. In my opinion Sony should have to completely recall this model laptop and either refund original purchase price or give a credit for the original purchase price to use toward another laptop. Contacting Sony about this issue hasnt sovled the problem and they dont seem eager to admit there is a problem. I paid over $1500.00 for a product that is a lemon and defective.
