Hurt, no treatment Made Sep 15, 2015, sent to the company Sep 23, 2015, published by CPSC Oct 15, 2015
The product, in the report: Black Fitbit Surge
I was using my FitBit Surge for a few weeks when I noticed a very red and irritated patch of skin on my wrist. I had followed all of the cleaning and maintenance suggestions so I assumed it was just a rash and took it off for a few days. After the redness and irritation had gone away I tried wearing my Fitbit Surge again only to find that the rash and irritation had come back and was worse after a few days of wear. I again tried to wait over a week for the rash to go away but it remained for several days before finally clearing up. I have not been able to use my Fitbit Surge since.
