No one hurt Made Jan 15, 2020, sent to the company Feb 12, 2020, published by CPSC Feb 27, 2020
The product, in the report: RCA Voyager purple Android tablet computer. Dimensions 7”x4”x.5”
This happened at around 2:10 p.m., the tablet was sitting on the counter charging. My wife was sitting in the living room and heard a small popping sound and noticed smoke in our kitchen area. She got up and saw smoke shooting out of the tablet (like a smoke firework), grabbed the tablet and threw it outside into the yard. No one was injured but the house is being aired out due to the awful smelling smoke it put out.
