The product, in the report: USB to mini-USB connection cord. PNY brand.
A PNY brand connection cord USB to mlni-USB melted and burned. Cord was plugged into charger but not into other device. Mini-USB end was hot, and wire near that end began to melt and smoke. Fortunately, I say and smelled the smoke and disconnected the cord from the charger unit. In other circumstances, I believe the cord could had started a fire in my home that could have threatened both life and property.
