OUR NUVISION MODEL TM 1088 C had been acting up so we hadn’t used it in a couple of months.
I took it out of its storage pouch and found that the battery had exploded. I don’t know how long it was in that condition. The tablet was split open and very damaged.

The product, in the report: Nuvision Tablet Model #TM785M3 TSN#641219149073410117 Silver Color FCC ID:2AAP6M7854
On the night of December 25th, 2015, my wife’s Nuvision tablet (Model #TM785M3) was in her bedside table and completely powered off. There was nothing on top of it and it had approximately 2 inches of clearance from the top of the drawer. We have a thermometer in our room and the temperature was constant between 72 and 74 degrees. This morning (December 26th, 2015) I opened the drawer to find that it had exploded. There were glass shards embedded in the protective case, and when we opened the case, it continued to bulge and split apart and there was a very clear chemical smell. We quickly took pictures of it and then threw it away outside. I have sent the pictures to Nuvision and reported the problem and am still waiting for a response.
