The product, in the report: Nextar auto GPS model X3-03
While driving, the Nextar GPS that I had on the windshield in the factory mount exploded. The car was filled with smoke. Visibility was non existant in just a few seconds. I was able to get the car off the road and open the door. I yanked the GPS from the car and let it smoke until it finally went out. Had this happened to an elderly person they could have well been killed or killed someone else. I realize that Nextar has been purchased by Tom-Tom but there probably many of these units still out there.
