The product, in the report: Childrens Android powered tabled with kid safe bumper

We bought my daughter a nabi in feb of 2015. And shes had it since then. A few months ago the tablet would be fully charged go thru the loading screen and come on for a second and then turn right back off. So it hasnt been used or plugged up in weeks. Yesterday at 7am i left for work, and her tablet was just fine. And about 330 my husband sent me a photo of this tablet with the battery visually expanding. He rushed outside with it where it then exploded in my front yard. Well i called mattel they requested i mail it back to them, to which i told the lady im not mailing anything that could explode more and have me sent to federal prison. You can come pick it up. And she then told me after her engineers look it over they can issue a refund of 36.00. Thats absurd. 36.00 is not the price on my childs safety. Her life was in danger having possession of this product. Had it been in my home, or in her hand when it exploded, this could have been worse. As the leading manufacturer of childrens toys, you would think Mattel cares more about the safety of children, than 36.00.

The product, in the report: It is a Nabi tablet for children

My grand daughter received a Nabi tablet for Christmas. My daughter purchase her a carrying case to put the tablet in. She notice a few day later that the tablets wasn’t charging properly and that the screen looked different. I call the company in feb to make the aware of the problem. the of the problem. They asked me to send them a picture of the tablet which I did. I received a call back from a [REDACTED] badge number. He stated that if this tablet have any type of pressure form the sides back or front. That the screen could break. I am afraid that I a child apply any pressure on this screen the could get seriously injured especially since the product is used by very small children. I also explain to him that my daughter place this in the bag with the charger he stated that they carry bags for this product. I feel that this product should have warning sticker on it telling you not to use another brand of carrying cases do to possible breakage. Also making sure that no one child is injured. I aslo asked for there phone number and address [REDACTED] refuse to give it to me.
