The product, in the report: HP power cord LS-15
I contacted HP regarding the recall of the power cord on my HP Envoy laptop. It has the same code (LS-15) as shown in the picture on your web site. I tried to submit this information on the HP web site but had received an error each time. So I called their phone number and after well over a one hour wait time I finally was able to speak with someone. I gave her my information and after she entered this into their system she said it wasn’t part of the recall. She said that not all of the cords were to be recalled. I told her I had this code on my cord and also that the cord is very hot to the touch. She said she couldn’t help and would transfer me to another department. Which she did but it turned out to be the parts department which also had a high number of calls before me. My cell phone was going dead so I couldn’t connect to another live person to express my concern over this power cord.
