The product, in the report: GPS Golf Buddy Tour
I bought a Golf buddy Tour GPS on 6/16/2011 with a DECA system LP-C04-01 LI-Polymer battery pack made in China. Yesterday on 3/5/2013 I charged the GPS, and went to play golf. at 7:15am I attempted to turn on the GPS when the battery exploded in the TPS in my hand. I took off the back of the GPS and the battery back had become separated from the rest of the battery. The battery paper backing was inflated. I don’t know if this is the same type of battery problem that the Boeing 787 is having. This is for you information only. aloha, [REDACTED]
