The product, in the report: HP Envy x360 laptop, silver
My husband and I were awoken last night by fire alarm going off. Found my HP laptop on fire on my sofa (was off and was not plugged in). Was able to extinguish the fire before the fire department arrived, preventing my house from burning down. Only after researching this morning was I made aware that HP had recalled these laptops due to battery fires. I was never notified by HP and was unaware I was using a ticking time bomb. This could have caused our death.
