The product, in the report: Amazon product number B07VP9H3ND LCD Writing Tablet, Electronic Digital Writing &Colorful Screen Doodle Board, cimetech 8.5-Inch Handwriting Paper Drawing Tablet Gift for Kids and Adult at Home, School and Office (Blue)
The product is a “cimetech” LCD Writing Tablet sold by Amazon.
Our child complained that the LCD drawing/writing tablet was not clearing its screen, and upon inspection we noticed that the battery cover had come off, exposing the lithium coin cell. We later found the battery cover and could not find a screw securing it. We are not sure whether a (tiny) screw had previously been installed and the screw was insufficient, or whether the manufacturer did not even install a screw.
We are aware swallowing a lithium coin cell can cause life-threatening injuries.
The full description of the product was: “LCD Writing Tablet, Electronic Digital Writing &Colorful Screen Doodle Board, cimetech 8.5-Inch Handwriting Paper Drawing Tablet Gift for Kits and Adults at Home,School and Office (Blue)” and the Amazon product number is B07VP9H3ND
