The product, in the report: Apple Beats charger cable (USB - Apple Lightning) 1.5meter black
The charging cable that came with the Apple Beats Pill Plus caught fire (began to smoke and glow red) during charging.
My daughter was charging the Pill portable speaker when she smelled smoke and saw that the device end of the cord (the lightening plug side) began to smoke and glow red from heat). She unplugged the cord and beat the cord to put out the fire that was starting.
We were lucky to be home; the house could have burned down.
I am seeing similar reports from a year ago. This product needs to be recalled.
