The product, in the report: Color screen Baby Monitor. White, about 4” tall. 2”×1” screen.
The baby monitor was on an end table next to the chair I was sitting in. It was plugged in and charging, while turned on because my son was upstairs sleeping. I began to smell a hot, metallic smell and couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. After about 5 minutes I picked up the baby monitor and it was extremely hot. My fingers got scorched from it. At that point I realized the smell was coming from the monitor and unplugged it immediately. The charger had melted into the monitor and the monitor powered itself off. The monitor no longer holds a charge and will only work sometimes.
