The product, in the report: Ambient Weather NOAA Radio, model WR-111
I had left my NOAA radio, model WR-111 (Ambient Weather) plugged in to charge it’s battery. A few hours later I heard a bang and found that the battery had exploded out of the radio and on to my floor and was on fire. I blew out the flame on the battery. I am very lucky that I was home and that the battery did not land on something flammable.
