The product, in the report: This is Fringe/Deep Fringe 8-Bay Antenna, model CM-4228HD. It weighs about 10 pounds.
[REDACTED]
Here’s a link to my FaceBook album that describes in detail why I am filing this report. But to summarize: I ordered TV antenna model CM-4228HD from ChannelMaster.com. The two right angled metal cross member braces on the antenna are so sharp that I sliced the middle finger of my left hand just handling the antenna right after sliding it out of the box. Those braces are so sharp that I didn’t even feel the cut. It was only after I noticed a lot of blood dripping on the floor that I looked down and realized that I had severely cut myself. I sent an email notification to Channel Master as well as checking customer reviews of this antenna on their web site. Only one reviewer mentioned this cutting danger. His review was dated January 2014. So Channel Master has been aware of this danger for more than a year and a half and they’ve done nothing about it. As a matter of fact on page 3 of their product manual it says “..every piece is smooth and machined to ensure a safe, trouble-free installation..”
