No one hurt Made Sep 3, 2025, sent to the company Sep 18, 2025, published by CPSC Nov 14, 2025
The product, in the report: Motorola Razr 2025. FOLDABLE Cellphone
I was working out at the local [REDACTED]. I was trying to record my workout. My phone (Motorola Razr 25) kept giving weird sounds in my headphones and the phone would just stop recording. I grabbed my phone to see what was going on. While holding my phone it started getting hot than hissing followed. I quickly ejected the phone from my person and it erupted. The phone was shooting flames out of it. I reacted as quickly as I could and got the phone to stop burning. It burned the floor in the [REDACTED] and released a bunch of fumes and chemicals into the air. I am not sure about all the damage that it caused. I also don’t know about long term/short term effects from breathing that garbage in. There were a few people close to me when this happened and this was recorded. At least the [REDACTED] does have cameras were I was at.
