The product, in the report: Microsoft Lumia 950
Microsoft Lumia 950. Had not been in use all night. Plugged the device in to charge it in the morning and approximately 45 minutes later I began to smell plastic burning. I rushed into our bedroom to see a wisp of smoke coming from the phone directly where the charger is plugged in. I grabbed the phone, dropped it due to the high heat and had to yank the cord out of the phone. After that I sat it on the stove (not burner, just non flammable surface) removing the battery after it cooled enough.
