Emergency room Made Aug 10, 2017, sent to the company Aug 18, 2017, published by CPSC Sep 11, 2017
The product, in the report: iPhone 7plus Glitter case
My service provider is print and when I upgraded to the iPhone 7 plus I also purchased a Kate Spade glitter case back in Nov 2016. On August 9, 2017 I noticed the case was cracked and my hands along with the phone case smelled like lighter fluid so I immediately took the case off the phone and threw it in the trash I noticed my thigh was irritated so when I looked I had a chemical burn I went to the ER & they confirmed the burn was approximately 4x7cm big and I was treated with prescribed antibacterial cream that I have to apply 3 times a day for the next 14 days.
