The product, in the report: Cell Phone and accessory charger.
Using a cell phone charger on my Huawei Nexus 6P phone as normal. I awoke in the morning and disconnected the phone from the charger which was sitting on the bedside table. The USB-C connector which interfaces with the phone fell to to the carpet which was normal. I went downstairs to get breakfast and feed the cats. While cleaning the cat box I could smell something like hot electronics which was stronger than the cat box odor. After about 10 minutes of being puzzled I went back upstairs to look around to find the charger connector had melted and burned the carpet and was smoking. This is the Huawei factory charger which came with my Nexus 6P Phone.
