The product, in the report: Freetel Samurai Series Kiwami Unlocked Phone Anroid 5.1 New - Dual SIM US Ready - 6” 2K Screen cell phone FTU152D
I purchased two Freetel Samurai Kiwami cell phones from Rakuten.com, one approximately 5 months ago and the other about 3 months ago. The phones work properly but get fiery hot to touch at certain times. Primarily when charging, but occasionally when merely being used normally.
The phone becomes fiery hot cannot be held with the hand, let alone placing it next to your face for use.
The seller was contacted and refused to accept a return of the dangerous phones and only provided a useless support number that had to be accessed from a Seatel telephone for the Japanese Manufacturer, Freetel.
After much research and translation, I was able to contact the Japanese manufacturer Freetel by email and was notified by them that the charger provided with theses phone was defective and should NOT be used for charging these phones.
This is problematic because there was no warning or advance notice given by the seller, Rakuten.com relative to this defect and the phone has non-removable battery which renders the phones useless unless you can charge it.
Unfortunately, The seller, Rakuten.com has knowingly refused to remove these faulty phones from their marketplace and are ostensibly, still selling these dangerous items to unwitting consumers.
