The product, in the report: Purple Duracell 10’ Android charger
I was charging my Android phone last night (03/17/2016). It was on the bed beside me while I was reading. Out of the corner of my eye I saw smoke coming from the cord and I smelled something burning. I immediately disconnected the phone from the burning cord and the cord from the outlet. I could see a broken place near the connector from the cord to the phone. A photo of the damaged area is attached. The phone itself is working properly, just as it was last night when the incident occurred.
