  1. No one hurt

Made Apr 17, 2017, sent to the company Jun 12, 2017, published by CPSC Jun 26, 2017

The product, in the report: Alcatel IDOL4 with Goggles

I purchased this Alcatel Idol 4 with googles Phone at the Cricket store located at [REDACTED] on January 2, 2017 . I noticed that the phone gets very hot and freezes. Cricket refused to assist with this issue and advised to to contact the manufacturer. this phone gets hot enough that it can not be held, and turns your hand and face red. I am concerned about excessive radiation exposure. At work I must keep my phone in my purse and I am concerned about fire. I have contacted the company who finally agreed to look at the phone if I mail it to them. When I went to the Cricket store to change the SIMs, the sales associate told me that she was aware of the heating issues and would not sell this phone herself. ( she was not the associate who sold me the phone)
