The product, in the report: Astronaut Star Light designed to project stars and nebula on room surfaces. Item No. T641781/Manufacturer: GUANGDONG China/Production Date 05/30/2024 / Distributer: L&Y USA / Batch number 00000157
Astronaut Star Light Item No. T641781/Manufacturer: GUANGDONG China/Production Date 05/30/2024 / Distributer: L&Y USA / Batch number 00000157 Projects light on to surfaces with LED lights. I was testing the product in my home before it was to be used for a lesson in a childcare setting. Yes, there were warning labels about looking directly at the light source, however, I was standing 24+ inches away to the side , not staring into the light source which was pointed to the ceiling and yet, I experienced pain and light flashes in my eyes. My concern is that this product is designed to look like a toy and children will look into the astronauts’ face out of curiosity and be injured severely, and rapidly. Unprotected light source with this technology should not be allowed around children.
