The product, in the report: ZZU Wireless Earbuds, Bluetooth Ear Buds with Big Bass Stereo Sound, 48 Hours Playtime, Lightweight in-Ear Fit Earphones, IPX7, Hands-Free Calls with AI for [REDACTED], Pad, Sports, Workout
I purchased three pairs of the “ZZU T18” earbuds from Amazon.com. The problem is that the rubber ear tips caused chemical burns inside the ear canals for both me and my wife. Symptoms began on day one with itching, blistering, and oozing, followed by scabbing by day three. The irritation did not improve for about a week. This reaction occurred twice for me and once for my wife before we realized that the rubber ear tips were abrasive and unsafe for skin contact. The reason that I am sharing this now is because it took me and my wife a while to have our ears heal the first time when we used these. Now that I’ve just used them again, the same burns have happened. I am thinking of sending the rubber ear pieces to a lab for chemical analysis and as evidence in case of any hearing loss.
