The product, in the report: https://custom.ultimateears.com/products/ue-fits White UE Fits headphones

My UE Fits headphones charging case overheated and began to melt, crack and smoke.

    - I came to unplug my headphone case (which had headphones in it), from the charging cable. When I picked up the case I dropped it immediately because it was super hot where the charging port is. Examining the case (see pictures attached), it was clear it had overheated at the charging point, browning, cracking and warping the port area. There was also a burning smell. - This happened on Wed the 22nd of Feb around 4:20pm PT (i was going to grab the headphones before walking my dog) - This happened on my bedside table, in my bedroom, in my house - I was using an [REDACTED] USB C cable (this model, I ordered it from Amazon. A cable was not provided with the unit when ordered from UE Fits website). - The unit was not in use at all, it was charging (per above) - No action was carried out beyond charging the unit. - I did not require medical attention. - The fire department was not involved. - Pictures attached.
