The product, in the report: Sonor Move portable speaker charging base (https://www.sonos.com/en-us/shop/move.html).
I purchased a Sonos Move speaker (https://www.sonos.com/en-us/shop/move.html) which comes with a charging base. While charging, the wire that runs from the wall adaptor to the charging base become hot, it separated as I picked it up, and sparked. It had not been previously damaged in any way by me during use.
