No one hurt Made Sep 12, 2023, sent to the company Sep 14, 2023, published by CPSC Sep 28, 2023
The product, in the report: Pyle pdic80 Speaker
We have 8 Pyle pdic80 ceiling speakers installed in our home. 2 of the speakers fell to the ground unexpectedly years after installation. Upon further inspection the plastic brackets that hold the speakers to the ceiling are extremely brittle and crumble even with light force. The speakers are wavy and caused a lot of damage to the floor and probably would have caused serious injury to anyone standing underneath. I called Pyle and the said that this has never happened before and offered no remedy . After looking at the product reviews on Amazon at least 27 people have experienced the exam same incident. This is extremely dangerous!!!!

Emergency room Made Oct 31, 2011, sent to the company Nov 7, 2011, published by CPSC Nov 22, 2011
The product, in the report: Pyle PWPE10W Marine Sport Waterproof In-Ear Earbud Stereo Headphones for iPod/iPhone/MP3 Player (White)
Purchased the following product: Pyle PWPE10W Marine Sport Waterproof In-Ear Earbud Stereo Headphones for iPod/iPhone/MP3 Player (White)
They can be found on Amazon.com.
The earphones are designed with removable earbuds for different sizes of ear and remove easily from the earphone. They are designed to be worn in water. After completing my swim with the ear buds on, I attempted to remove them from the ear. The ear bud, rather than coming out, became separated from the earphone and remained lodged in the ear canal. I was unable to remove it and had to have it removed by a doctor at the ER. The design is poor and this occurred when using the product as designed. These are not the first ear buds I have used and I have never had this type of incident occur with other brands and types of ear buds.
