The product, in the report: Jabra Speak 500 USB - Bluetooth Speakerphone purchased from NEW EGG Remote bluetooth speaker phone
I purchased (2) Jabra Bluetooth speaker systems for cellular and PC use. I had one n my face and 1 in my car. The one in my car started smoking heavily one day, causing me to emergency stop and clear the unit from the vehicle and myself as well. The unit committed a very strong and pungent eye and lung burning smoke, and some heat as I threw it onto the outside. There is no visible melting to the eye, but the unit continues to smoke when engaged. I provided 5 emails to the manufacturer, with a bit of stalling from support and finally they went silent.
