  1. Emergency room

Made Nov 3, 2022, sent to the company Nov 7, 2022, published by CPSC Nov 22, 2022

The product, in the report: Wireless Bluetooth earbuds with charging case and 4 ear tips

The silicone tip from an earbud got stuck in my daughter’s ear. She was using earbuds with silicone tips which separated from the rest of the earbud. It got lodged in her ear canal and we had to take her to the emergency room to have it removed. The product was being used as described in the instructions to listen to music. The injury occurred when she removed the earbud and the silicone piece detached and lodged in her ear.
