The product, in the report: SAMSUNG Galaxy Buds 3 Pro - Silver (latest model)
I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 3 and have experienced a recurring, harmful issue. When inserting the earbuds, they intermittently produce a loud, sharp popping sound. This sound is sudden and painful, and it causes temporary ringing in my ears each time it happens. The ringing sometimes lasts for several minutes afterward.
This problem has occurred multiple times (roughly every other time I put the earbuds in) and is not the result of misuse. I have the latest firmware installed and have tried disabling Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Ambient Sound, and other features in the Galaxy Wearable app, but the issue still occurs.
Based on my experience, this appears to be a design flaw in Samsungs noise cancellation and microphone correction system. It seems that the earbuds attempt to automatically adjust or over-correct when detecting interference, which results in an intense and harmful popping sound.
This is a potential hearing safety hazard. Even though I stopped using the product, the effect (ringing in my ears) is strong enough that it caused lingering discomfort. I believe Samsung failed to design this product safely or warn consumers about this risk.

The product, in the report: Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Graphite
Using Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro ear buds resulted in allergic-type reaction inside both of my ears. Issue started with dry, red skin and inflammation and later resulted in ear leaking substantial amount of clear fluid. I do not typically use ear buds for longer that 60 minutes at a time, 2-3 days per week. When symptoms fluid occured I discontinued use and monitored for other s/sx of infection. Symptoms eventually improved within a few weeks. Tried to use the earbuds again one month later and within 2 hours of use ears were inflammed, throbbing, and leaking fluid which is how I determined with certainty the ear buds are causing the issue. I am a medical professional so I did not seek additional medical care. Samsung has been contacted regarding this issue but status remains unresolved. I have used other ear buds for extended periods prior to the purchase of the Buds2 Pro and have never had issues or any other history of skin allergy.

The product, in the report: Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro - Black Model SM-R190NZKAXAR UPC 887276507651
Galaxy Earbud Pro causing allergic reaction in my ear. Extreme itching, burning and oozing of liquid, then turns crusty as it dries. Itching and burning continues. I have not experienced this with any other type or manufacturer of in-ear buds. I am planning to see a doctor about it, and have contacted Samsung, and they hung up on me 3 times, and I finally got through and answered a lot of questions about them. They then said they would send me a box to send the buds back to them for evaluation, and someone would be in touch with me. They only gave me a reference number, rather than issuing me a refund or offer to exchange for another product. I have discovered that many people have experienced the same allergic reaction from this product. Some are more severe than others, including bleeding, hearing loss, etc.

No one hurt Made Mar 30, 2020, sent to the company Apr 7, 2020, published by CPSC Apr 21, 2020
The product, in the report: Samsung Galaxy Buds which are wireless ear buds used to listen to music and other audio devices using bluetooth connections.
Purchased a set of Galaxy Buds manufactured by Samsung to listen to my TV using a bluetooth connection. Upon 1st use, the volume of the ear buds was way too high. Upon contacting Samsung to determine how to lower the volume, I was told that volume control was an option in the settings which cannot be accessed/changed by installing an app on an Android cell phone. I do not have an Andriod cell phone, so my only option is to use the buds at the factory setting which is way too loud and I fear damaging my hearing. Samsung will not resolve what I consider a design problem and safety concern. After contacting Samsung the 1st time, they indicated it would be forwarded. Upon the second contact , I discovered they closed the incident report without informing me. Also the Chat discussion was supposed to be emailed to me each time, but it never arrives. Upon that complaint, I was told they could not send me a copy as it was part of the system. I feel they stopped the email so I did not have evidence of their response.
