The product, in the report: Cambridge Soundworks powered subwoofer P200

I have a Cambridge Soundworks surround sound system including the P200 powered subwoofer.

Recently the subwoofer made an unusual whining sound then a loud “pop” followed by acrid smoke pouring from the unit and filling the living room. I turned off the unit and removed it to the exterior of the house - the unit was very hot and the hardwood floor below the unit was also very hot.
