The product, in the report: USB/Bluetooth Wireless Headset (ear buds)
I purchased at “BT Wireless Headset” from Amazon.com. Upon charging it with a standard USB charger, the device immediately began smoking, and ultimately melting. This is a severe burn hazard. Had we not been home, it also could have caused a house fire. It created a pungent, toxic-smelling smoke that permeated the apartment. All products should be inspected and/or removed from inventory until safety can be assured. We are also contacting the seller on Amazon. For reference, the product is: www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Wireless-Earphones-Cancellation-Sensitivity/dp/B00YXRCA04/
The box states the product name as BT Wireless Headset (mis-spelled as Wirelss). The company address in Chinese, so we are unable to translate it. The online seller is not the same as the manufacturer.
