    Beats Pills Fire Hazard

Attached please find photographs of my daughter’s beats pill. On June 5, This device was plugged in to charge the battery. It had been plugged in for approximately 20 minutes. There was/is no problem with the electrical outlet. The beats pill began to emit smoke and a terrible odor that filled the room and surrounding area of our home. When I investigated I found the device glowing red in the area of the power cord - at its connection to the beats pill. The entire device was hot to the touch. I immediately unplugged the charging device and removed it from our home. The odor remained for several hours from the smoking and fumes.

I am so fortunate that I was at home at the time of this incident. This device appeared to be ready to ignite. It could have possibly burned down our home and injured anyone there at the time.

We are very disappointed by this experience and concerned for the safety of others. I appreciate your attention to this matter.
