The product, in the report: YONGNUO YN300 Air LED Camera Video Light with Adjustable Color Temperature 3200K-5600K
The Yongnuo YN300 Air is a small LED Video light that fits on top of the camera. I’ve had it for approximately 1 year but used it very infrequently. The light is LED so it normally remains very cool to the touch. On my last use however, it became extremly hot and began to melt. The back of the LED light has melted from heat. The knob is warped and no longer round, you can see the internal wires, the back is slightly warped near the knob, and the battery pins are out of alignment, and it no longer accepts the battery. Luckily there was no fire but it obviously became very hot without warning.

The product, in the report: Yongnuo YN560-IV Speedlite Flash for Canon Camera
I purchased Yongnuo YN560-IV Speedlite from B&H photo on August 22, 2016. I have had some problems with this product overheating and on Friday, August 25, 2017 it was too much and literally melted the plastic on my batteries. I was using Duracell batteries and tried different batteries in it, but they all overheated.
Obviously, if the flash got hot enough to melt the plastic on the batteries, it could burn a person.
