We were alarmed by the smell of smoke in the bedroom. We knew it smelled like an electrical fire when we found the baby monitor charging port was smoking and melting the plastic. It was on our nightstand beside where my husband sleeps so luckily we were home. Prior to it catching on fire, in was in use due to us have two kiddos that have cameras in their room. No injuries occurred but we are lucky that we were home when it did occur.
