Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. Hurt, no treatment

The product, in the report: ‘2.7” LCD 1080P Full HD DV Camera 16x Zoom Camcorder 270°Rotation(Red)’.

I placed an order about a month ago for a ‘2.7” LCD 1080P Full HD DV Camera 16x Zoom Camcorder 270°Rotation(Red)’ from [REDACTED] and Ergode. The camera looked fine but I went to charge the battery and the charger sparked and smoked. It also shocked me, and blew the outlet out. I did check the voltage before I plugged the product in and it was the correct voltage. It almost started a fire. I contacted the sellers and they refused to refund, or send a new camera or charger, they were not willing to help. This was a scary experience, and the charger is made very cheaply. I am worried about other people having problems and it starting a fire, shocking them and harming them.
