  1. No one hurt

Made Dec 8, 2018, sent to the company Jan 29, 2019, published by CPSC Feb 12, 2019

The product, in the report: https://www.samsung.com/us/smart-home/security/baby-monitors/brightview-baby-video-monitoring-system-sew-3043w/

My product has not actually proven to be unsafe yet. But when researching it online I see many reviews siting how their battery has swelled (like mine), and in some cases exploded.

The product is the Samsung Wireless Baby Monitor - Model# SEW-3043WN and the battery pack model is 455271PHV.

A few days ago the backing to the baby monitor popped off and wouldn’t fit back on. That’s when I noticed the swelling. I tried to go online to order a new battery. That is when I noticed all of the reviews: [REDACTED]

I’ve got two of these monitors running in my house and it worries me that there is danger of fire because of the batteries. I tried to go back to the amazon page where I ordered them to inquire about returning them, but those pages have been taken down. I assume the seller has stopped selling these because of this issue.

It just seems like something that should be recalled.
