The product, in the report: eufy Security by Anker Spaceview Pro Baby Monitor and Camera 720p, white 10 x 6.1 x 4 inches Weight: 14 oz FCC ID: 2AOKB-T8300C (model number and serial number below were printed on the camera portion of the set. The monitor was so badly burned that you cannot see any numbers on the item)
Our eufy Security by Anker Spaceview Pro Baby Monitor and Camera caught fire overnight on my nightstand, with about 3 ft flames coming off of it. It was charging at time of fire. Fortunately, we were able to extinguish the fire quickly before it spread further, but I did sustain several burns to my arm and leg while doing so, and the incident caused significant property damage. Following the fire, there was a strong chemical odor in the room, which we immediately vacated.

The product, in the report: eufy PoE NVR Security System S4 Max
Eufy is providing Copper Clad Aluminum Ethernet cables with their PoE NVR security camera system. Since this system requires the Ethernet cables to be run concealed through walls, this is a fire risk.

No incident, no one hurt Made Jul 23, 2024, sent to the company Aug 9, 2024, published by CPSC Aug 23, 2024
The product, in the report: eufy Baby, SpaceView Pro 720p Video Baby Monitor with 5” Screen, Two-Way Audio, Pan & Tilt, Night Vision, Lullaby Player, for New Parents, Wide Angle Lens Not Included (No App Required & Supported)
I am reporting the eufy SpaceView pro (eufy Baby, SpaceView Pro 720p Video Baby Monitor with 5” Screen, Two-Way Audio, Pan & Tilt, Night Vision, Lullaby Player, for New Parents, Wide Angle Lens Not Included (No App Required & Supported)).
We have owned this baby monitor for about a year and a half.
Over the past 6 months the battery on the monitor has started failing. Now it only works while plugged in.
The product is designed to give warning beeps when the battery is dying, however it has stopped doing this.
Additionally, we have had several times where even when plugged in (let me repeat- WHILE PLUGGED IN) the baby monitor will fail and stop working without any warning.
I have reported the product issue to eufy and they dont seem to care. There are hundreds of others reporting the same issue.
We have had multiple times where we will wake up and the monitor has failed. I believe this to be an issue of infant safety that eufy needs to correct.
We are so lucky that nothing has happened. But I cant imagine if he woke up and tried to crawl out of his crib/fell.
We have replaced the monitor with something new, but have tested the eufy to see if the issue persists, it does.

The product, in the report: Eufy spaceview S baby monitor
Baby monitor camera came apart from base and fell in the middle of the night. Luckily it was not mounted directly above my son. Mount and bottom of camera are still attached to wall. The camera was mounted properly and has been there since purchase. Nothing knocked into it, etc.

No one hurt Made Jul 24, 2023, sent to the company Jul 27, 2023, published by CPSC Aug 17, 2023
The product, in the report: Eufy security Spaceview Pro baby monitor. Comes with a camera that plugs into the wall and a separate monitor that has a battery and power cord.
The monitor stopped working in the middle of the night and my baby was crying for who knows how long!!
We had this unit for 10 months. The monitor stopped charging and won’t even work plugged in. I contacted customer service and they sent me a replacement monitor that did THE EXACT SAME THING. They told me to upgrade the firmware in the NEW unit I was sent, when I did that it crashed and wouldn’t turn on. I escalated the issue to management and yes, they sent me ANOTHER unit, but they wouldn’t overnight it and I did not have any way to monitor my daughter while she was sleeping for almost a month. I ended up sleeping on the floor in her nursery.
Based on multiple reviews on Amazon this is a very common issue of the monitor all of a sudden stopping working. This is extremely dangerous for something that is meant to keep babies safe.

No one hurt Made May 6, 2023, sent to the company May 9, 2023, published by CPSC May 23, 2023
The product, in the report: Eufy Security SpaceView Baby Monitor - wall mounted camera with a head unit that has a display, the camera is the piece that failed
The camera of the Eufy Security SpaceView baby monitor sheared from the base without warning, and fell 8’ to the ground. We were in the room when the failure happened. The camera was mounted to the wall per the manufacturers instructions, as we’re in an earthquake zone we hadn’t it mounted directly over the crib, but it would be a serious hazard to a young infant if mounted above the crib. There are 6 other documented reports of this exact failure going back to 2019 in the CPSC database.

The product, in the report: Baby Monitor Camera
A Eufy baby camera mounted over a toddler’s bed fell off the wall, not because the mount failed but because the camera base separated from the rest of the camera. Fortunately no one was home at the time so there were no injuries.

No one hurt Made Nov 28, 2021, sent to the company Nov 30, 2021, published by CPSC Dec 14, 2021
The product, in the report: Eufy Spaceview Pro Monitor
We have a 3 month-old infant and had an Eufy baby monitor camera mounted above the crib. Last night the camera broke off its base and fell into the crib. This was out of nowhere in the middle of the night. There was no impact on the camera. There was no prior impact on the camera.
Just luckily my wife was nursing our child when the camera fell. This is a heavy contraption, that could have severely injured our baby.
This morning I did a research on Amazon, where we bought the camera. Apparently this is an ongoing issue. I saw posts from 2019 (2 years ago) that also showed the mounting base shearing off the camera out of nowhere.
I cannot believe this has not been addressed by the manufacturer.

No one hurt Made Nov 25, 2019, sent to the company Dec 19, 2019, published by CPSC Jan 6, 2020
The product, in the report: Eufy Spaceview S in-crib video baby monitor
I recently purchased a Eufy SpaceView S baby monitor from Amazon. As other Amazon reviewers have noted, the base of the camera unit broke off. (For me, it happened as I was removing it from the box.)
If the camera is crib-mounted—which this unit is heavily marketed to be—that will drop the camera unit, with its exposed innards, onto a baby or elsewhere in her crib.
This is a manufacturing defect, likely a result of the three circled screws being mechanically over-tightened and shearing-off the circled posts.
This item should be immediately recalled.

No one hurt Made Nov 14, 2019, sent to the company Dec 13, 2019, published by CPSC Dec 31, 2019
The product, in the report: eufy spaceview s baby monitor
Came home today to find the baby monitor camera in the crib. Upon closer inspection, the camera had sheared off at the base. All 3 plastic pins had failed and the camera fell into the crib. Luckily my baby was not in there when it fell. Had only been using the camera for 2 months with very little use since my baby is not in his crib yet. This camera clearly was not designed to be hung horizontally. They need to increase the fastener length to handle the hanging load. The camera is heavy and could definitely hurt a child.
