Emergency room Made Mar 7, 2014, sent to the company Mar 18, 2014, published by CPSC Apr 1, 2014
The product, in the report: Canon PowerShot SX50 HS Digital Camera bought Bought at Best Buy in early december 2013. My lawyer was to send a notice to Canon this week until we learned about the recall.
I am writting you from Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. In last december, I received a camera as a christmas gift. I have started using it the next day. On january 3, I woke up my right eye and cheek (joue) red with bloody scars and had extreme itching and pain I went to the emergency and I received the diagnostic that its was an allergic reaction.
The only thing That was close to my eyes for that week was your camera. I decided to return your camera and bought a [REDACTED]. No more pain or red eye.
By this email, I am not requiring you to reimbursed me the camera. The only problem is that I am not a [REDACTED] fan. I rather like Canon and I have bought many cam’s from you prior this incident.
Now that the problem is fix, And instead of poursuing you (quite surprising to see the recall! I was in contact with my lawyer on tuesday) I will accept another camera for free of charge and deliverd to my house. If we can come to an agreement, I am ready to sign a complete and final for it ...
Camera was bought at a Best buy in Vermont.
