The product, in the report: A company called Bush Baby is selling psudo-smoke detectors that are actually hidden cameras. These products appear to have exposed wirenuts on them, a violation of the National Electric Code, and by extension, many local residential building codes. They also appear to have all the standard markings of a regular smoke detector, making them indistinguishable from a real smoke detector, and may confuse consumers, or visitors, into thinking they are actual smoke detectors. Both B&H Photo and Home Depot have these production for sale on their websites. [REDACTED] [REDACTED]
