The product, in the report: Two piece television stand and armoire top with doors
The furniture is a two piece hutch television credenza with doors. I bought it in 2016 and have not had any other issues with it, however we always kept the doors open and tucked to the sides. Yesterday the doors were closed and I opened them for just a moment to get a hair tie off of it. The doors were perpendicular to the unit (sticking straight out) rather than tucked to the sides. The weight of the doors pulled the whole unit forward. I narrowly jumped out of the way before being crushed.
I am astonished at how the mere weight of the doors would be able to cause such a large piece of furniture to topple over like that.
