The product, in the report: Radius brake system, hydraulic disk, on a Trek bicycle is defective and can endanger lives as brake it not operational. I have data from other bike owners that this is a problem with the brakes system (brand). the bikes should be recalled
I bought a Trek bicycle in San Francisco from a store (new); the shad brakes of type “Radius”(hydraulic disk) - after 6 months of use, I had to pull the lever to the handlebar to stop. I had the brake bled but this did not solve the problem. I had to have them replaced. I contacted the manufacturer who suggested I just replace the brakes at total cost approx $400.
